GO STEELERS

Song of the Day: "Bob that Head" Rascal Flatts (yes deliberate)

Quote of the day: "Turns out if you never lie, there's always someone mad at you."
Scott Westerfeld

Horoscope
February 1
Find a wide-open field to frolic in today, dear Capricorn. Pick some wildflowers and bring them to a vase on your kitchen table. Small things can bring a great deal of sunshine and hope to a stagnant situation. Try your best to clear your mind of unnecessary clutter and open it up for new possibilities to enter. Getting out and taking a walk in nature will help you gain a fresh new perspective.

Happy Super Bowl day.

Ran to the store twice today. The second time I got to do what everyone else wants to do, NEEEENER NEEEENER NEEEENER... I talked to WOW. Oh yea and WOW, mail me that cable that is not for the thing I sent you, I will figure out what electronic it goes to. Pbbbblbbbth. She said we can get LL a cat for Valentines day. Heee Heee. Just kidding there.

But I did get to talk on my hint for a good while and my ear got hot. I have to take it to Alltel and let them look at it. It was wanting to loose it's signal up on the highway and my ear is a bright red color right now! I never had this problem with the Scoop. I might just bring it back and get another scoop and I can use the scoop as an MP3 player. SIGH then I am stuck with the case and charger for this phone. DAMN it. What to do what to do.

Today has been a good day. I got some wash done, no homework, kids were pretty good, had Mr and Mrs L over and their kids, went shopping twice, and now I am off to bed. Nothing exciting. Waiting on the ICE damage over at Renie's house to pass and then I will post some pic's of Dandilions or Dafidills whatever they are called! They bloomed out and the necterine tree is fixing to bloom out. They are just going to die tonight it is suppose to be like 28'f.

Karma?

Horoscope
January 31
To understand the major shift taking place, dear Capricorn, you must look at events from a lofty perspective. A slow-acting liberation process is gathering momentum. In the next seven months, you will be unable to refuse an opportunity to rid yourself of an oppressive part of your past. You'll shed your old complexes and emerge renewed. Don't be alarmed if some family relations suffer as a result; the distress is only temporary.

Excuse me, I need to go and pick my jaw up off the floor.

But for shits and giggles here is the first quote I came across :"Seize the moment of excited curiosity on any subject to solve your doubts; for if you let it pass, the desire may never return, and you may remain in ignorance." William Wirt

And the Firstsong I heard today was (I think this is the name)"Paradise on the dashboard" Meatloaf

Now, I have completly forgotten what I was going to post about.

Cheap eats

Song of the day: "Civil War" Guns and Roses

Quote of the day: "Every generation imagines itself to be more intelligent than the one that went before it, and wiser than the one that comes after it." George Orwell

Horoscope
January 30
Your intuitive nature is especially strong, dear Capricorn, and you won't have to think about things because you have the ability to just know what the answer is. If there is any penetrating detective work that needs to be done, this would be an excellent time to get to work on it. Your caring, sensitive nature will get you through any door you want to walk through today, so keep that smile on your face at all times.

I got a lesson in limewire this afternoon from Mrs L. I downloaded 1G of music to my jump drive to put on my Cellphone MP3 player. I am gonna put a want list up here that I cant seem to find there for free.

I am suffering from a little guilt tonight. I emailed my sweetie a borderline email knowing darn good and well there is nothing he can do about it. Am I horrible or what?

I got a lesson in manners today. I had to run a bunch of Errands for Sue. After I'd been abck to the drug store for the third time (and I was hot because Molly failed everyone of her math worksheets and quizzes for the week) I yelled at the pharmasist because Sue's perscription (that I dropped off at nine am) still was not done. While I was waiting, Molly said somthine to me about who should be minding whos manners. So, when he came back with the script I appologized to him. I told him I was out of line and not really mad at him, agrivated because I had been held up but not mad. You know what he said, :Look lady, anytime you need to vent, please come and see me. That was the nicest I ever got yelled at and I mean it: and you know what? I am sorry that anyone else ever yelled at him. He was so nice. I did of course appologize a second time.

I paid Dish and Wild blue up to the second of Feb. I am prolly going to swithc to the Alltel wireless card. I am hesitant because we are so far out to the boonies. My Scoop with them would get a bar or two, but now the Hint I have won't get a signal at all out here. I have a few days left. I might just take the Hint back and exchange it for another Scoop. So, the point is, I might be posting short frantic post's from school. Oh well.

It is past my bedtime.

Redneck Seafood Dinner

Song of the day:"Buttons" Pussycat Dolls

Quote of the day: "I have enjoyed greatly the second blooming that comes when you finish the life of the emotions and of personal relations; and suddenly find—at the age of fifty, say—that a whole new life has opened before you, filled with things you can think about, study, or read about." Agatha Christie (1890-1976) How's that one for Karma

Horoscope, and I am laughing because I just checked it and it seems like today, this week, this month, and this new year fits in here.
January 29
Shake off the dust of the past few weeks and put the confusion behind you, dear Capricorn. You have a tremendous imagination and creative ability that has been dormant lately because you may have not known how best to channel it. Perhaps it has been used negatively, leading to fallouts in certain areas of your life. The good news is that things are changing, and you should make a conscious effort to refocus this creativity in a positive direction.

Quote and Horoscope taken from the free dictionary link over there >>>

OK This was just too funny not to post. If I have your email addy, then it is not new as I forwarded it to everyone on my list. LOL.

This is funny no matter who you are and you laughed, you know you did.

Challenger 1986

Quote of the day: "One small step for man, one large step for mankind" Neil Armstrong

Song of the day: "The Final Countdown" Europe

Where were you today in 1986 and did this even Impact your life in any way shape or form? I was in 7th grade and in Social Studies. My 7th grade Science teacher had been amongst the teachers vying for the postion won by Christa McAuliffe . And this day was an event for us. Our teacher had got the AP guys to install a TV and Beta in the classroom. She was going to record the event live and play it for our class. She was teaching a class when it happened. I loved my science teacher, she was the 7th grade bomb. I can remember clearly her walking into the Social Studies room and calling the teacher out into the hallway. She was crying. We could hear her in the hallway in hysterics.

This was old school. This was when you did not get up from your seat to see what was going on in fear of going to the office and we all just sat there. In a way we knew. No one was talking, just listening. Everyone wanted to be out in the hallway. There to comefort her. Never in any of our imaginations did we think something went wrong with the space shuttle. Another teacher called the office on the PA system and there was a meeting of the top minds at BCMS. Our teacher came in and finished class.

I was nervous. My next class was science. Our teacher was there and she spoke to us in a monotone. She said that the office had contacted all of our parents and instructed a few students to go to the office. For the rest of us she said there was bad news about the space shuttle. She told us that she had permission to play the tape but that it was very disturbing because there had been an accident and then let us opt out of being in class. No one left (except the few who's parents said they couldnt' watch it). She played it for us.

It was amazing. I was so going to ask to go to NASA space camp for summer. Up... Up... and then... were the fuel tanks seperating... and really At first I just thought a fuel tank had exploded after it had seperated from the shuttle. Milla-seconds later the true disaster unfolded. Horror. What happened. Did the cold war start?

And yes. That was my thought. The Russians had found away to Nuke our space shuttle and I was pissed. I stood up and yelled, "Those God Damned Commie Bastards" just as I had learned from my mom and all the adults in my life that spoke when they thought I was not listening. The teacher snapped out of her funk and said, "WHAT?" and I repeated it a smaller voice. After all we had watched, "The Day After" Just a few weeks prior when learning about the basis on atomic energy and where that had started from and gone to.

That was the start of my fear of Cold War. I watched the news that night for the first time with intrest. I hung on every word. I sat backwards on a chair and was a half of a foot away from the screen. I analized the data presented closer then any NASA scientist could even imagine. And I didn't even have half the facts. I pointed out when the first sign of the problem was and that destruction would be iminent from there out. My grandmother told me that was nonsence besides a decent girl wouldn't worry none about science. My mother told me to mind my own business. My Uncle Bill (who passed last year) smoked his cigar and stared at me.

I was not allowed to discuss the space shuttle. I was not allowed to express my fear of the cold war. That was when I first came aware of preduice (Commie Bastards) and when I discovered that being born into an Irish Catholic family, it was simple, people played with science and GOD punished them for their acts.

I have sense taken every science class I could take. I plan to take more if my degree at Southern will allow it. The shuttle Challenger has haunted me my entire adult life.

That is all. Does anyone have anything to share on the topic? Todays quote was not random. The song was a toss up the one I posted or the one I think David Bowie sings... Major Tom... I have to look it up. No... not Bowie... WHO? Grrrr. Ok DOC.... who did Major Tom!!!!! Or is it the same song as the one I posted. Now I'm confused.

What I just don't understand is this...

Quote of the day: "The mind of a bigot is like the pupil of the eye. The more light you shine on it, the more it will contract." Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. (1841-1935)

Second Quote of the day, this one is for Fermicat: "Cats regard people as warmblooded furniture. " Jacquelyn Mitchard, "The Deep End of the Ocean"

Song of the day: "Lady" Kenny Rogers

OMG. Mrs Whatsit, the Weight Training instructor, is trying to kill me. I have heard of stiff muscles before, hell - I've even owned a few! My fat hurt yesterday. Thanks Drill Master Sally. Can fat hurt? Yes of course it can, it wants to regenerate and reproduce just like any other cell in the body. Hee Hee.

Naw, Drill Master Sally had nothing to do with my stiffness. I just OD'd on a good time. Too bad this is just a one hour core credit hour, because I am really enjoying it and I am dedicating about the equivelant of a 4 cch class of work into it. *SIGH*

Onwards and upwards. Lets talk politics. Hang on, I am going to write this part in MS word and copy and past it, I want all my P's and Q's to be exactiminated. Is that a word? Hee Hee.

Fast forward to Hist 1111 or West Civ. What a great class. I wish there were more hours in teh day to dedicate to the content being bestowed upon me there. Sigh.

I felt bad in Statistics yesterday. Philly was looking all wild eyed and confucious (misspeeled inteneded) and upon leaving utter somthing about not understanding anything after the word Hello. I explained, this is a class where you have to take everything you know about math (in the known universe) open the window, toss it out, and rely on your belief that an interger is a whole number 0 or 1. There is nothing more or less. In between is the probability that you will pass this class. Or something like that.

Bio II - test next wed. Pbblbbbth.

Ok off to study or something. Oh and I will get to my political statement. Soon. And then we can have a heated debate and then...
and....
oh...
Ahhh....
ummmmmmm....
what were we talking about?

Blood sucking leaches

Song of the day : "Don't think I can't love you" Jake Owen

I got three for my Quotes ... Political mood!

1st Quote of the day: "The word 'politics' is derived from the word 'poly', meaning 'many', and the word 'ticks', meaning 'blood sucking parasites'." Larry Hardiman

2nd Quote of the day: "A university is what a college becomes when the faculty loses interest in students." John Ciardi (1916-1986)

3rd Quote of the day: "In my many years I have come to a conclusion that one useless man is a shame, two is a law firm, and three or more is a congress." John Adams (1735-1826)

I get my quotes Here

From the free dictionary there is this tidbit
"It is terrible to speak well and be wrong." Sophocles (496BCE-406BCE)

But that is the way it works. You can either find crap for quotes or a whole sha-bang of good ones. Sigh. Unfortunatly the qutoes are longer then this post!

Horoscope
January 26Take a look at what is going on around you today, dear Capricorn, and do some internal processing before you reach a conclusion regarding the best way to proceed. You may find that a combination of powerful forces is at work, trying to win you over to their respective camps. Don't pigeonhole yourself into only one way of doing things. Keep in mind that the best route to take is oftentimes a combination of several different paths.

getting better

Quote of the day: "I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, It's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, And that enables you to laugh at life's realities." Dr.Seuss US author and illustrator 1904-1991

Song of the day: "American Pie" Don McLean

Horoscope - i m omitting today's horoscope because it really applies to the events that transpired yesterday! LOL. I am not having another yesterday! Period point blank and end of story.

Yesterday was a bad day. I am sorry about that post. I guess we are all victims to our emotions and the acts of other people that play upon our emotions. The saving grace is there is this really sweet guy that listens to me and encourages me to see beyond the bad to the great that lies ahead.

Today we need to do laundry. Harry is on this tirade of BS so we might end up going to the laundry mat. He made the comment yesterday that I can't use the wash machine. That is fine. He wants to be a dick then I will sort all the laundry and leave his fucking wash home and he can do it his fucking self. Two can play this game. I've never used a public laundry mat so this should be interesting to say the least!

I am off to sort clothes and get the girls baths and set up stuff for tomorrow and the week. If we have enough clothes to last out the week then I might say F**k it to going to the laundry and wait dickhead out on this one. I think we have enough clothes, lol. Socks... now that might be the challange. But I know where the store is.

See my problem with public laundry is this... I don't want to catch some wierd flesh eating diesase because of unsanitary conditions and I really don't want to infect my kids with something.

I hate today

I hate today. Today I hate. It is such an evil horrible feeling. I hate Harry, I hate Sue, I hate the life I am forced to live (for at least another year). And worse, I hate this feeling of hate. So, I will say a prayer for any blogger friends stopping by:

May the Lord never let you walk in my shoes and may you never feel the angst I am feeling today. - Amen.

Quote of the day: "A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval." Mark Twain

Song of the day: "All I want to do" Sugarland

Horoscope
January 23
Consciously realize that you are someone unique and special, dear Capricorn. Remember this throughout the entire day and let your actions reflect this affirmation. There is a rather distinct intensity to the day that might cause others to be on edge. Don't be disrupted if there is an element of "freaking out" in your world. The good news is that you should be able to handle this intense blast of emotion with no sweat. Emotions are your forte!

I had a nightmare last night. I can't remember all of it but it had to do with falling from a great height. I was watching someone fall and I caught them. The force of catching the falling person knocked me to the ground and I did a disco/shoulder roll and then when everything calmed down I realized that I had scraped my left should to the nth degree and that is all I remeber. I don't remember what happened between catching the person and realizing that I was hurt. Wow. I sat up and was like WTF, where did that come from and what does it mean. I used to do dream analogys for people but it has been years. I guess I got to try to figure out what this means.

Anyway. I am fixing to take a nap. Kids are at school and I can't do any cleaning until Sue and Harry get up from their naps.

Coldness seeping into my veins

Song of the day: "The Bad in Me "by Jake Owen

Quote of the day: "It is bad luck to be superstitious" Andrew W. Mathis

Horoscope:

January 21

Was someone close to you rude without any provocation? Were you the target of unpleasant criticism? You take these slights to heart. Beginning today, and throughout the days to come, you can expect to withdraw somewhat to lick your wounds. You need more harmony and gentleness in your love life, and you are likely to obtain that soon. Be patient!

ENOUGH already; if it is going to be this cold, at least give us SNOW! This is for the birds.

Today I am tired. Like I need a cup pot of coffee and two toothpicks and to make it worse, I am craving the flavor of coffee. Now, I can drink coffee before bed and go to sleep so I think I am just missing my normal taste of it all day. You know, three weeks at home and I got a lot of coffee in my belly. One week and a half back to school and I am on life support withdrawals without it. It is so bad that as I type that little section I reached for my empty travel mug twice.

I will turn the heat on and have a smoke instead. I am actually at the school waiting on Molly. There is no signal here so I am typing in vain working in MS Word. I took my new laptop to computer services and had them show me how to use it today. Only the second time I've gone there with it. Today I told them flat, "Look, I am close to 40 and I got a new fangled laptop with Beta (and bugs) and it is just a little smarter than me, pwease help me!" And boy did I feel stupid when it took them like 20 seconds (or less) to fix the problem. No wait, I felt like the stuff on the bottom of your shoe that we shouldn't talk about. No wait, Pond Scum has a higher IQ then the one I possessed at that moment in time.

I am searching the abyss of my soul for a solution to a situation outside of school.

I have two appointments next week that interfere with my learning experience. Wednesday I have to leave early and go to Vocational Rehab and get re-certified. That's fun. Then I have to go on Thursday for the big test for Molly to find out what her psychological problem is and if it is something to really be concerned with or if it is just ADD.

Home and chores are done the kids and I are having some down time or TV time. I am ready for eight pm tonight! I never got to the post office. My phone that came in to replace the one I currently use is broken, LOL, oh well.

Two quickies

Song of the day: "Total Eclipse of the Heat" Bonnie Tyler

Quote of the day: "The government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it." Ronald Reagan, 40th president of US (1911-2004)

Horoscope

January 22

Decisions will be even more difficult to make than usual today, dear Capricorn. On one hand, you may be feeling a need to ground and stabilize, while at the same time, you may find that your energy is raging in a million different directions, and you want to seek out new experiences and new social interactions with others. Try to adopt a plan that combines both of these energies. Nervous energy will keep you moving.

Story one – This happened on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning (however you want to look at it.) I hear a commotion at 12:30 am. I get up because I am really not quite sure why Sue is yelling at Molly to get her rump out of bed. I run into the kitchen and ask what is going on. The coffee pot is brewing, all the kitchen lights are on and Molly is dragging past me to the bathroom. I inquire. The answer… "It is 6:30am and you guys are gonna be late!" I look at the clock and squint. I look at Sue. Sue looks at the clock. "Opps, I looked at the clock wrong." Yea, OOPS. But in the few seconds it takes for everything to register I am still thinking stuff like… did I forget to turn on the alarm clock? And… Oh shit… I over slept!

Story two – I forgot what I was going to say! LOL. I knew while I was driving to school but I didn't get my voice recorder out so … all thoughts went out the window.

They are calling for SNOW

Song of the day: "Like a Virgin" Madonna

Quote of the day: "I can't call you at home because you have no bars where you're at. (Sounds like a commercial - "Jenn has no bars, so she missed that phone call from Prince Charming and is stuck dating Georgia rednecks for the rest of her life...")" Name withheld for privacy reasons.

My answer to this? "I'd rather die a born again virgin then date a Jawja redneck."

The weather today is calling for snow. I shutter. I sip my coffee. I am afraid to look out the window and see white stuff. Should I have left the news on instead of just clicking the TV off when the local experts uttered that word? Will school be closed? Should I call the schools? Should I look out the WINDOW first? WTF!!!! SNOW???? IN THE ARMPIT OF AMERICA?

Your talking to the QUEEN procrastinator here! I still have the ice pictures to post from earlier this week! Oh well. Ice, Snow, and that must mean that hell is freezing over. Figures.

I must look out the window. Puppies want to go out, horses need to be fed, I need to pack the car up if we are going to school... dare I ... should I... oh no..... is it... could it possibly be?

See.. Renie... It is that easy! I wrote that part of the post last night!

The reality is... I woke up, laid in bed a few minutes dreading getting up and looking out the window, snatched up a few dogs, opened the door to a very COLD blast of wind but no snow! Although they are still calling for a chance of snow... it is getting closer to a fat chance of snow! HA HA. But Augusta is getting pummeled by a dusting to a half an inch (or that was at six a.m.) Schools and business are closed up there or detained by at least two hours pending.

The other reality is, I had a smile this morning. There is a great chance this evil little thing (the smile) is going to follow me around all day and force me to bed nice to people! OOPS! **EDIT** BE not bed! But I left the original there to give you all a chuckle! Appears my mind is in the GUTTER. Reminds me of an Elvis Song. Any Guesses what song? Has to do with Crazy!

Post 19 of the new year... or I hope so

Quote of the day: "A clever, ugly man every now and then is successful with the ladies, but a handsome fool is irresistible." William Makepeace Thackeray (1811-1863)

Song of the day: "Two Hearts" Phil Collins

Horoscope:

January 19

This is an excellent day for you, dear Capricorn, and you should find that things are running smoothly and to your advantage. Watch out, however, for those who may want to rain on your parade by bombarding you with facts and information that don't really connect with the way you are feeling. This disembodied information is unrelated to the real issues - the ones relating to how you feel and why you feel this way. Pay attention to your heart.

Today's agenda is fairly simple. Take Lucy to the day care so I can get my homework done. Do first of two chapters for Western Civilization, post at least four comments to other peoples posts, take a short nap, do the second chapter, make online post, load disc for Statistic's, load disc for American Government, pack bags, put bags in car for tomorrow, and finally go and get Lucy.

What I've done. Two chapters of western civ, wrote my essays or answered the questions, posted one comment, took an hour and a half nap, and am sitting here procrastinating doing anything else.

I am back to using my east georgia email account. jganoe@ega.edu or you can still reach me at MSN jennganoe@msn.com, either will work, ega is the best to get a response from me within a few days.

WOWie, I havn't forgot about you. I just havn't got to the post yet! I am lazy like that. But a friend of mine said he will mail it for me, if it works out that way... you will have to wait until April. See, I thought of it today and then ... well... the post is closed today! I will have to recharge the battery the way I am going! Silly me.

Sorry to bore anyone. I am trying to make a post a day. And honestly, what did I say... uth - nothing. But now any regulars have my emails if you should need them.

Here is a link to a virtual doll that you can adjust it's height and weight! LOL, I love playing with those things. I had it at the max weight it would allow and Harry walked in and he was like, "Gosh I hope that's not how you feel like you look!" and then I had it at like the minimum weight. Then I put it at my weight and played with hair styles. Courious, I am considering getting a Meg Ryan hair doo, like when she did City of Angels. LOL, that one looked the best on me, I've had that hair style before! Right now it is all one length around my shoulders with bangs. And straight.

Any ideas? Perm or short are about the only options I am offering!

Today's aspects are suggesting that you take a good hard look at the state of your ego, dear Capricorn. Are you too proud or too humble? Buddhist wise men say that the path to spiritual fulfillment lies in knowing how to build a healthy ego while at the same time developing a part of oneself completely foreign to the ego. Are you working hard at this?

Unexpected company this weekend. Unexpected turns of events. I took some pictures of the ice in the water trough. I will Blog tomorrow or the next day.

Puppies

SIGH

Here are some pictures of the puppies.

Last night one with a sweater on
Photobucket
See my BOOBOO?
Photobucket
Ahh they fed me food and warm milk, now i have the energy to bite your head off
Photobucket
Yea, well they fed me the same thing, ha ha ha
Photobucket
I got a picture of the third one on the other camera but now I can't find the device to transfer the photos's. And in all honesty, they are very cute and sweet puppies. I don't understand why anyone would throw them out. It happens often around here though. We havn't had puppies thrown out in awhile, it has been older dogs and they have a bite to eat and leave. EXCEPT for the pigpen living at the end of the road! LOL. Damn dog moved into the ditch near the corner and every morning he has bit's of chew tire, logs, pillows, parts of blanket... you name it fuzz nut has it in the road. GRR. I will try to get a picture of him tomorrow. He is black and white and has reallly pretty brown eyes. He looks like he might have St. Bernard in him.

Song of the day: "William Tell Overture" (sense viewing the Mom song, I can't seem to get WTO out of my head. Without the ad lib words of course)

January 13

Your stroll through the "universe of possibilities" that you so loved has come to an end, dear Capricorn. It is time for you to come back to Earth and join the rest of us. You have more hope than most people, like the good Capricorn that you are, and you understand that we need your imagination and courage regarding the future! Today you may have to make an important professional decision...

-I made not important decisions today or none that I know of.

-I left Earth – when how, I was … perhaps abducted by aliens? Did I tell them any pertinent information about the number 42?

-Do I need to become a paranoid schizophrenic? What are you telling me Horoscope? Who exactly needs my imagination and what are they going to do with it in the future.

All right, all joking aside, let's get back to the scheduled post. Some people have days. I apparently have days that turn into weeks. I brought Boo Boo Gurl to the vet this morning. Oh wait; let's back up to the exciting heart stimulating part of the morning. While feeding the horses I became grossly aware of the fact that the critter I thought was a dwarf rat in the barn was two more puppies. L So, all three went to the vet. They are from two different litters according to the vet. He doctored Boo Boo Gurl's nose up. I hate it when a stray gets a name because guess what that means…. Oh… a pet. Anyway, BBG is cut clear into the nasal passage but it is not life threatening. She sat there very well for the vet to peel off the scab and examine her cut. She did whimper but she did not growl or snap or squirm (until he cleaned it and put iodine on it then she whimpered some). I had him examine the others and they all get a clean (but flea bitten) bill of health.

He charged me a small fee (five bucks) to examine the babies because I have the intention of finding them a home and not dropping them off at the pound. The brindle one was snatched up by Pam (a woman about my age) after classes (I left the puppies at the vet all day and picked them up after school, ran them over to the college and gave Pam one.) Like I said, I will put their pictures up but not tonight.

I walked with Mrs L today at the park. LOL. Ok, I waddled with her. Or she waddled with me. My gluts hurt. Well they are stiff even. Reckons as that was the first place I broke into a sweat.

Had American Government today and I hate to say this… Oh, do I have to? I loved it. There. I said it. The most fun I've had all week … well next to reading my emails from someone. I was sitting on the edge of my seat and sassing the hell out of the professor. He gave it right back. But then I know him from areas of the college and his photo debut, "I'm not a trained photographer but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn Express last night" theme. In other words… I knew I could. I think I will use that on him on Thursday. I will say, "Randy, I'm not a trained American Government Student but I did…" LOL see what he says. My luck he will kick me out of class.

I am sitting here typing this because that is currently the only part of my body I can move. I lack the strength to turn this laptop off and more accurately pick it up off of my lap and set in on the table by my bed. But (screaming) I am going to try.

Freaky People

Quote of the day: "A man is never more truthful than when he acknowledges himself a liar." MArk Twain
Song of the Day: "Napoleon" Ani Defranco
Mood - lets not go there

I said that I didn't really meet people off of the internet. But AFTER reading a post on Doc's blog, I decided to come clean about some of my experiences.

The first person I never met in person, we ran a chat room together. And had phone calls until 3 am on work nights. My nic was "deep reflections, or deeper (variation of the first name)and systolic tomcat" Her nic was "Breezy, seabreeze, and other variations of". I really liked Carin. She worked in ad sales for a radio station on Cape Cod and her Hubby owned and ran an appartment complex in NYC. Then she started to get wierd and tell me bizarre things. I told her one night that I thought she might need to see a doctor and discuss getting some medications. So, then she started a barriarge of really wierd BS like mailing me broken (shattered like, not broke in the mail like) Christmas Ornaments, and Curtins cut to shreds. And then the stranger stuff, like I had online bill pay through bellsouth (before the big ATT take over and I went to pay my bill and there was a $700 over payment. Then she sent me an email saying that would keep me online for about two years. And she got really crazy. I was actually scared and I asked the local PD what to do and they got the GBI involved.

In the middle of this, a family that was regulars in the chat room went on vacation. I can't remember their names. They did ask me if on their vacation they could stop by and meet me, they would be traveling with the girls. OK. Why not. Carin hadn't got all crazy yet and I was a virgin to meeting people in person from the internet. This seemed safe. A couple and their two children. Problem was it was safe. She was handicapped (never once mentioned that to me) and had a club foot ( I didn't know I was predjuice on handicappes until this) and he was ... um... a half retarded grease ball, long haired hadn't showered in a month husband to be but not right now because he was getting paid my the state they were from to take care of his handicapped love. She was also of nasty composition. The kids were in far worse condition. The one girls was two years older then Molly and about as smart as a box of rocks. The other was younger then Molly and smart! They both had different daddy's and neither was the one the woman was with. While here (they stayed in a motel) I found out that she was into a sex ring with men that liked freaky sex and she made a lot of money prostutiong like this. And all I could think was... I've been single for 4 years and thats what all the eligable men are dating. Not knwoing that freaky sex and dating were two different things (OH THE EDUCATION THE INTERNET PROVIDES). I don't know what was worse her choice of income or how damn nasty dirty from lack of bathing she was.

Moving on. I kept my circle of friends as live human beings for a long time. I still maintained chat rooms but I then USED the hammer if things got out of line. In my systolic nicname (I kept it in the room to fish for wierdo's) I had enough pictures of mens private anatomy sent to me to fill up and entire 750mb disc. I then marketed multipble copies of this and sold them for $10 each on Ebay. They sold in minutes on the buy it now feature and I mailed the orginal out and had nothing to do with saving dirty pictures ever again. Not entirely so, we did burn a few copies and leave them in random cars of customers that annoyed us at work. LOL. That was imature and rude and I was like too old (so was the service manager) to be doing crap like that. Funny though.

Then I met Jason. Match dot com. I liked Jason. We talked and emailed a lot. His sister owned a club in Dublin and I went there to meet him. We had a really great time (no sex) and this went on several weekends. But I really don't party and it was boring to sit there and watch other people drink. So, Jason and I parted our ways.

Also from that web site I met Chris. He was the grand BS guy. You couldn't help but like him. He was a tattoo artist (I have the tatoo to prove that) and he talked a line a mile long. We also never had sex but we were great friends. He'd come over and help with the horses or take his daughter and mine fishing.

Moving on. I met Mac at a militay friends site. Mac was a sport. He'd come over and we'd do stuff like tear down buildings. He'd bring his son over and his son would play with Molly and we'd just sit out back and chat. I liked Mac until he put the moves on me. I mean it wasn't that I wouldn't have liked to be with him but his moves consisted of talking about the type of Sex I really don't want to have.

There are two more. Neither of these I met in person.

Realtime ( I mention his text messages in my post from time to time) and I managed a chat room or we chatted in teh same chatroom. Russ would prolly be my BFF if he didn't live in teh land of the insane. Or Nebraska if your courious. We've had some of the best conversations, some of the funniest text messages, even Sue adores him. We used to talk on MSN messy all the time on Web Cam. Clothes on! THe computer was in the living rooma nd Sue would get up in the camera and hollar hello and start talking not knowing you had to type and I'd be like typing 100 wpm

Then ther was Joe. LOL. Joe was Sue's 2nd favorite. He called me every night after Molly went to bed and would talk until his phone went dead. Usually about cooking. He was from Vietnam (living in Tenn)and proclaimed himself as a bounty hunter (this was before DOG the bounty hunter).Joe and I talked for three or four years and then he jsut disappeared when I had Lulu.

So, I have had some good experiences, I've had some bad experiences, and I've had some I'd reather not go there experiences. What I have learned is that people are pigs. Give an inch and they show you their inch. I mean... they take a mile. I have learned to stay away from dating sites. Everytime I join one I get piggy remarks without even a hello. I am not a nasty person and I don't want to be treated like one. I also have higher standards then to be around them.

I try to shower every day. Somethimes twice. I don't wash my hair every day because my hair gets real brittle if I do. It is long and thick. But my ass is getting washed... END OF STORY. My kids are bathed most days. Sometimes on the weekend I let it slide one night (if it is time to do laundry but NEVER when there are clean sheets on the bed) and my pets are even bathed when time and weather allows it. I just don't tolerated nasty.

Back to the summary. I think the good experiences out weight the bad ones. I found really good friendships in Russ and Joe. Well Russ anyway. He is still around. The only real regret I have is Carin. I'd like to know what ever happened to make her go nuts. I do regret not being there for her in her obvious time of need but like I said she really scared me with the things she was doing.

And I say this as I am packaging up a present for WOW. LOL. Honest it is what I told you. The battery is out of it! That don't sound right! But it is clean... that sounds worse. I don't want everyone to know what it is,,, she will prolly tell you but... OK... ON that NOTE... LOL... I will just go!

Morning Came in a HURRY

Song of the day: "Heaven, Heartache, and the Power of Love" Trisha Yearwood

Quote of the day: "You can log on to Web CT and print out the course Syllabus" All EGA instructors. Yea. Thanks. Right back at you. Your allowed 3,000 pages a month and we are allowed each 300 pages a semester.

It is easy to forget how early 5am is and how hard it is to function at said time! Although I will be the first to admit that more cognitive activity takes place early on I will also be the first to admit that does not include coordination skills. Having said that; I am here and not quite pleased with that said fact.

Weight training class actually seems like it is going to be neat. Notwithstanding the fact that we have a quiz every Wednesday over three chapters and that seems a little farfetched. Do what? Oh and how about the JOURNAL we have to keep and the TWO essays. All for one lousy point that don't even count towards the GPA.

Second Class Bio II, and I have had that instructor for Microbiology, Anatomy and Physiology I and II, and the class started with a power point from the A and P II class. Honest. I have it in my AP Binder. I couldn't believe it. I fell asleep inside my brain listening to the run down. I like the instructor. I love the way he teaches! But it was like having someone explain to me how to tie my shoe. That coupled with the fact that I had less than half of my morning intake of the beverage I love so much!

Statistics was third. The C will transfer but I am taking two advanced Statistics classes over the summer I and Summer II at Georgia Southern. I want it fresh in my mind and I want a better grade. That class bombed. The computers in that class were not working correctly with the Elmo and Overhead fancy thing. He tried to pull up his PowerPoint (which showed on the computer) but then the overhead wouldn't work. He gave us the pre-test and sent us on our way.

Small break then my 2pm Bio lab where we were tested on our known knowledge of the veins and arteries (which had also been and AP II midterm for lab – are you getting the trend here?) But before that we got to diagram the skeleton bones, the skull bones, and the back bone (Oh another lab quiz from AP II – Surprise!).

Now. Here I have apologies to make. Big ones. Major big ones. I sent Amanda over to Mrs. L's house on the bus (because of Lab) and when I got there Amanda and Katie were screwing around about doing their math quizzes that they both didn't do so well on in school. Amanda was rocking back on her chair and Ms K was yelling at her for this as it was a repeated offence. I got so MAD at Amanda. I was just Ill to the L's. Like cussing rude. My behavior should not be pardoned but I hope they understand it was my disappointment in Amanda, compounded with a bad day or repetitive nonsense, and coupled by Amanda disrespecting someone's furniture. I dropped the F bomb about ten times. I used a not so nice voice. I helped myself to a soda (and it was the last one!) and I screamed at my child. L I am mad at myself for it. Mrs. L and Ms K, I AM SORRY! I will write you an email later and apologize and prolly apologize a million times in the next week… LOL…. Dang it.

Got home, fed the horses and discovered that we now own an injured Black Pit-bull puppy. Black with a white blaze on her tummy and her right front foot is white; she has a little white on her chin. She is fat (prolly worms) and has a gash that is half healed on her nose. Sue said she was happy to see her earlier when she caught her in the yard and then she got scared when Sue picked her up. She has a blanket and is in the outside dog cage. I talked to her and she has really intelligent looking eyes but hung her head like she was bad (and sat there) her little tail was hesitating but tapping the ground while I spoke to her. I will take her to the vet in the morning and leave her for the day ( I have to walk and I have a class) and I will see what they say. I don't really NEED another dog but I am not going to let the little thing be sitting at my house injured, either. I will nurse her up and try to find her a good home. I just don't know what else to do. I am not going to take her to the pound to be put to sleep, that's for damn sure.

I will post a picture of her tomorrow. It was too dark when I got home to take one. I think I will try to find her a home by printing her picture and posting it at the college. See what happens. I got to print out the horses pictures and post them at the college too.

I am tired. I am off to bed. There is more I want to say but lack the ability to think coherently and then type what I mean to think. LOL. If this week keeps up at this pace, I will be checking everyone's blogs at the end of the week and catching up. Sorry. I have a lot to do tomorrow (don't expect a post unless it is another late night one).

My horoscope, eth?

Horoscope:
Capricorn for January 10
Do what you can to bring greater stability to your emotions, dear Capricorn. Love and romance should be on a slow, solid, and steady path for you as long as you are honest with yourself and others about the way you feel. Perhaps you are so caught up in your own fantasy world that you fail to see that things are actually moving more and more in your favor. Conflict that arises today may be uncomfortable, but ultimately it will shed more light on the truth of the situation.
