Ahhhh a new count down

Doc said to go ahead and give everyone a heads up that there is another countdown to occur that will take place 7 weeks from tomorrow! So,,, pbblbbbth... you are warned. This will be a week to week countdown (as I have less exhausting things to do then a day to day thing)

Please feel free to leave comment guesses. Neither Doc nor I will tell you if your right or wrong. But a heads up... no... we are not Preg and we are not getting hitched (yet). Hee Hee. ANY TAKERS?

Lets see, I picked the dogs up on Monday and brought them home. Bear was listless and wouldn't eat. He was like that all night and yesterday. Harry called me about 2 pm yesterday and told me that Bear was still acting off so I called the vet and he wanted to see him. I ran home and got him and he vomited all over my car and shit all over Lulu's car seat on the way in. little fucker

CRCT exams this week and next week for Molly and I had two exams today. I am wore out. I still need to take a bath but right now even the thought of it is effort and I am just sitting here and ignoring the fact that I stink!

Lets talk for a moment about the CRCT. These exams the kids have to pass in order to be promoted to the next grade level in school. As we know Molly was diagnosed ADD and Asbergers (SP I don't have the paper in front of me to cheat on the spelling). I brought the paper work into the school on Monday (as we got it late in the day on the last day of school before break and that was the first day I could get it to them) and the school administrator is telling me that Molly won't be given the extra time (as defined on the papers from the doctor for her disability) and that it will take effect next school year. So, I questioned if this was not in violation of the Americans' with disabilities Act. Appears that it is in violation and boy did some serious work get done when I asked the correct questions! But it wasn't without a fight! It shouldn't be like that! Then they left five seperate messages on my cell phone about if I didn't do this that and the other thing (while standing on my tiptoes and farting dixie) then the agreement was null and void. So, I called up the Doctor (for Molly, not Doc) and asked him if they could do this. He got kinda short with me and told me a few things (armed me with knowledge) and I called the school back on Tuesday morning and spoke with the principal. So, now that I basically had to threaten to get certain officials and the Civil liberties union involved... Molly gets her extra 45 minutes per test.

She took her first test today, they are given 50 minutes for the test and ten minutes to check it over. Plus Molly gets the additional 45 minutes per her disability. SO... what does Molly do? Finishes the exam in 30 minutes. The teacher that conducted the exam looked it over and said that she couldn't find a mistake on it. Go figure. All that agrivation for nothing.

Sunday November 9th, 2008

What an adventure today! Lets see, we left the house at 8:30am to go grocery shopping and got home at 3:40 p.m. Fun? It is always an adventure going to Dublin with Sue and the Kids. First stop BigLots and we picked up a few things. Then we went to Shoneys for breakfast. Both Molly and Lulu suprised me by getting seconds at the breakfast buffet. Maybe I don't feed them enough! LOL. Wow.

Then onto the big Walmart. Where we saw this.
Photobucket

Lulu was like, :Whats that:
Molly:uth a pink cat:
lulu: Uth no:

I think I got most of my walmart bingo. LOL. I din't continue to snap pictures tho! First stop was the potty and I had to deviate to the back of the store! they have the rest room conviently located next to the toys. This was around noon that we finally made it to the grocery store. I call walmart the grocery store because they have managed to close down every grocery store in all these small towns. Then they go and jack their prices up because they have a monopoly. I wish the gvt could go in and shut them down. Honest to god. They are not the store that wally stated. It used to be the american store. You could go in there and purchase thing made in america, only. SIGH. Now your prolly getting lead poision just walking into the store. Such is life.

We bought the bulk for the month. Needless to say the back of the jeep was not big enough and we ended up having groceries packed around the car seat, the floor by the car seat and the floor around molly. But damn, didn't I just go grocery shopping a few days ago?

I could see the rational of this if we sat around and ate all day or even if we cooked elaborate meals. But we don't.

Food for the day: on a regular basis
Cereal for breakfast (weekends french toast made from stale bread, panacakes, sausage/bacon eggs and orange juice)
Lunch - school - manny bags it, lulu's is provided, I either bag it or get something at the school.
Dinner- Misc and depending on time. If we are late getitng in then it is hot dogs and mac and cheese for the kids and usually i skip dinner. Sue and Harry eat early on the days we are late. On time days, a frozen dinner, spag, kelly burgers, or some breakfasty thing like bacon and eggs
Desert- rarely although we have been hitting the sweets hard this last month

Seee? But I am going to keep track of it this week, who eats what!

Puppies were funny tonight. Molly let them all out while we brought in groceries. Except Scarlet. She went in the outide cage. Everyone took time to love and play with each puppy. Bear is a hambone, Ani is all the sudden terrible jealous over Scarlet, Scarlet is a dram queen and T is T. LOL. Scarlet's ears look really good. I am please with how they are healing and I will post a pic of them as soon as I get a chance to take one.

That is it in the world of Jenn. Going broke because we gotta feed our guts.

tid-bits

I have no idea what to call this post. LOL.

Chloe goes to California tomorrow. wooohoo one mouth less to feed! Really she has to go, everyone is getting attached to her. She is so soft, very well mannered, very pretty, and just a puppy that anyone can like. I am afraid that Betty's hubby won't like her. Chloe likes men. She also likes to dig. Dale spent a lot of money on their lawn... Get where I am going?

Long day at the college today. Ugh. Philly brought in my cheesecake. She made a classic NY Style one and it was fab! I ate two pieces of it! Piggy me. I had one after dinner and then I just had the second a few minutes before sitting down to write this. Yep. That cheesecake won't last the weekend here. Sue also had a piece. She told me, "That is better then sex." so I emailed Philly, "Sue said that you need to bring the other cheesecake into me tomorrow. Because if Mr M (Phillys hubby) finds out that it is better then sex he will throw it away and that is a waste of some good groceries." :) I will let ya'll know if she does, but for some reason I don't think she will believe me.

That is just a standing thing here. If something turns out real good, the first person to try it will say, "No good, don't eat it" and well that might work on some poeple and it did work the first time I tried using it down here, but they are on to me. LOL.

I picked Scarlet up today. I wish I'd left her a few more days. All that puppy does is YELP. Granted she has a reason right now, she got a shot and her ears clipped. BUT.... I am about ready to duct tape her &(()*(#)*# mouth shut. In all honesty I would never do that but I might put her in the paper for sale for $500 or $600 and that will cover her cost, her shots, and her ears. I can always get another. There is just no reason to keep a dog that no one can stand. OMG. I ain't never seen the likes of an animal like this.

I cornered Brian on the phone this afternoon. He never sent the check but that was about what I figured. But ya know what? He sunk his boat here. No longer will he be welcomed at this house. If he wants to visit his daughter, he can rent his self a car and drive ehre from which ever airport he flies into. then he can put up the cost for a hotel. Then he can drive over here every day he is in Ga to see her and leave at bed time. There will be no more catering to Brian. And there will be no more of Brian staying here and getting shitfaced every night. I am done with his bullshit and so is everyone else in this house. I left him for a reason 9.5 years ago. And now everyone is really seeing that perhaps I was not so irrational as they once suspected. I mean he has come close a few times to showing his true colors but alas he struck gold over the last few weeks.

I used the money that came in for child support today to replace that tire. Good timing too. When the guy put it up on the rack the tire blew. Poor fellow jumped back (as did everyone in the waiting room) I priced the repair for the upper ball joints while I was there. $430 plus taxes to have it done after market, $618 to have it done with Chrysler parts. I think the big oak tree down the road looks like a fantastic place to park it at about 75 MPH.

I guess that is about it. Boring day to blog about most of it was studies orientated. Grrr.

good vibrations

I admit it was eerie to drive into school today and have it be an utter ghost town. Creepy. I even text messaged someone from the red light and asked if it was a holiday. She called me back and informed me of the wide spread parties last night due to the election. Oh. I went to one a few years decades ago when I was covering an election for my mother. She couldn't be at both the local democratic convention and republican one at the same time. I went to the republican one. That was when the first Geo Bush got voted in and the place went wild. I stayed and covered the convention until the votes were talled up to the number needed for the win and then I went to the hut of a office that The Daily Mail called an office and wrote my article in the dark. I did this because of the border line riots down the street. My mom called on the back door number and asked me to go and cover the caos and I was like... um.. no. LOL. So, I understood what was meant by partying. Needless to say there were a lot of people absent at the school today. I don't remember Obama saying anything about boosting the tution to those who fail out due to excessive election partying. Congradulations Obama. I will say that due to the election I have received a bunch of tasteless text messages. :( And yes I did laugh at most of them. I do however refuse to pass them on.

The sci-fi world has suffered a great loss today with the death of Michael Crichton. I have always enjoyed his books and his television/movie creations. I send my condolences to his family and friends.

Shithead still has not sent the money for the repair bill. He said he sent it last Tuesday. It would have been here on Friday if he did. I called him on Friday and he swore he sent it. Well that is all good but Harry wants his money back and wtf, why say you did or are going to do something if that is or was never the intention.

The puppies that are staying here all got a bath today. I picked Bear up and he just had a stank on him, so then T came over and a familar odor of ick arose, I didnt bother to smell Ani, I just hauled them in one at a time and gave them baths. I will wait on Chloe until Friday morning. I am going to take the blow drier to her on warm and dry her/ fluff her. I pick Scarlet up from the vet tomorrow. Nobody is looking forward to it. LOL. She is such a screamer! I can't imagine how she is gonna be with her "boo-boo's" ugh.

Good Vibrations is how I feel in general. I have felt great sence the time change. I have woke up feeling like I got some sleep. The night we "Fell back an hour" was rough. I didn't feel good. Lulu got up. Harry took her. I lied back down. Then I got up and Harry went to bed. Lulu fell asleep and I put her to bed then I started to cough. My nose started to run. My eyes started to water. I started to sneeze. Every time I got comefortable I was up. I saw two o'clock the first and second time. then I saw three o'clock and four and five... then I fell asleep until seven thirty and woke up and felt remarkably refreshed. GO FIGURE THAT ONE OUT. But this whole week I have been getting up and I am ready. Except for yesterday, I felt like that but I reached full mental capacity early... oh well.

Oooh NYPINTA have you lost it?

Oooh it kills me. LOL. Really. Honest. NYPITA announced that she is going to try to write a novel in thirty days as part of NaNoWriMo . Wow. Heavy duty. Really. That is a big task to take on, writing 175 pages or 50,000 words in thirty days. If I were not boondoggled right now with my classes and work load, I might be tempted to try this. All I could think when I read her post… Instant Insanity. What a mental work out! Then I thought about it on the long drive to get the kiddie-kins and I was even more leaning towards … "What on Earth, has she gone mad? Do I need to provide some sort of mental intervention for my dear friend?" and so, I get home… pull her blog up and follow the link.

This is where it gets really cool. The site is awesome. You can make donations to help youth writers and stuff like that. I was all for her doing this. I read every available page (well, every page I could read and cook dinner and bathe the kids and get them settled in… yadda yadda… yadda)

I kinda like the idea.

No, I like the idea and I am rooting for her 100%. If I didn't have this crazy work load I might even be tempted to do it to. Maybe next year. Maybe in December I will do it just to see if I can do it. Why on earth did they pick November? OK so, maybe I will wait until January to try it. November and December are kind of busy.

So, if you get a chance check out NYPINTA and NaNoWriMo.

In other news, I brought Philly her Pecan pie and she promised to make me a cheesecake! Yum. We shall be fat chic's of the campus! Lol. Really she is not fat, I just said that. As you can see by the pic of me that I squeezed into the Halloween pic's, I am a chubbymomma. Oh well. I like myself anyway.

Scarlet was dropped off today to get her ears done. Yea the screamer is gone for a few days. Lol. And I don't intend on picking her up until Thursday or Friday. J Chloe is booked to go to California on Friday and meet her new family. That will be a relief. Chloe is a really nice dog, very pretty, and everyone is trying so hard not to get attached to her! If Betty doesn't like her I will take her back. And I am not saying that to be selfish. She is a likable dog. But Chloe is also a puppy and pretty good at puppy stuff (like chewing, stealing, testing the waters of play and play and poop and hide and …. Urgh!) But all , the puppies do that! Chloe will sit. I have got her to come to her name, sit, and walk a little on a leash. She is not fond of the leash Betty and her hubby and children will have to figure that one out! She does not potty in her box but she sounds like a police car when she wants to get out to go! She likes to go potty about 3 am. Oh well. We are excited to see her go to California but we are also going to be sad to see her go. Esp Lulu, lulu just scoops her up and totes her like a doll. It is rather cute. Chloe is just along for the ride and Lulu is all business. Doll carriage, under the arm or however. J Chloe has her own baby (that will go with her) and her own blanket (that was lulu's but it will go with her and stay with her) and her own sweater (that she will be wearing). Chloe also got her health certificate today and her last puppy shot. Other puppy news, Ani got her Rabies shot today and is curled up to Lu (pouting) she keeps looking up at me with her ears back like I hit her or something. I feel so bad! I won't hold another dog while it gets a shot! General T is mad at me. He knows that Ani is in the bed and keeps whining.

I get a kick out of General T. He hates to get caught by Lulu and toted. But he loves to love her! After the pup's go out in the morning, I will take T and put him in bed with Lu and let him wake her up. This morning he pile dived her. Over and over like she was a bag of food and he was going to get into it with his nose. She was getting mad. He would ram her and she would swat him and tell him no! So, I put Bear in bed with her and he bounced on her like she was a trampoline. Needless to say, she was not a happy camper this morning.

Molly wants me to cook breakfast tomorrow. Bacon and eggs. Scrambled. I don't know about this. On a Tuesday morning? Grrrr. I might make a deal with her, how about tomorrow morning… LOL? Tues and Thurs we have to leave so early so I might try to bargain out of a Tuesday morning full course meal, cereal, cold with milk. J

SEE that was 906 words. Maybe 50, 000 random words won't be that hard NYPINTA! Good luck.
