the 90 mph pitstop

short and simple, molly broke her left foot tonight, I am just getting to bed (12:06 am).

How? LOL, bringing me a pen! I was wrapping presents and she brought a name tag into the room, left the room, pivoted on her left foot to come back in and give me the pen in her hand, twisted her ankle (heel went to the ankle twist!), fell down on her ass and I heard the god awful CRACK.

Long and short she has a definate sprain but the X-ray revieled that the small bone on the outside going from the (pinky toe) up is split the long way (not across) about half way down it.

They set the foot to a mouldable splint and refered me to an orthapedic surgeon for her. They said they couldn't do anything for her she has to see a specalist on Monday.

Have I done something wrong here? It feels like all the sudden I am being horribly punished! Whatever it was, I'm sorry! Does that help? LOL.

But the b-day party is still a GO for tomorrow. LOL. Wow, my little big trouper.

Yammering

Song of the day: "Last Christmas" Wham

Quote of the day: "The fact is, sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes. That's why we need really special ones now and then to make the walk a little more fun." Jenny Bicks, Sex and the City, A Woman's Right To Shoes, 2003

I should be studying Bio for tomorrow! Lol. Really I should. I had to fill out the paperwork for the Psychologist for today for Amanda.

In case you missed my comments on yesterday post, I got a 95 on the Psych adjustment final. Is that not SWEEEEEEET?

I need a 100 tomorrow to get a B. I have a 78 average in that class right now. Ohhhhh me. Lol. But, Amanda comes first and there are like 30 left now before I have to go and get her to take her to this appointment. If I don't have to be in there for the appointment, then I will study my Bio, I have it all set up to look over.

I forgot my cash at home so we will be hungry today! LOL. Oh, ya know, sometimes it rains, sometimes it poors... I mean hee hee... pours. Frudian slip.

**edit**
Doc W said that his perliminary exam that Molly has either a high functioning form of autism or aspingers disease. We will have more test done in three weeks.

I am as selfish as a pole-cat wanting to have an orgasm

Yep. Yes indeedy.

Song of the day, "Here I go again." By Whitesnake

Mood – irate as the devil in an ice storm, in January, in the middle of Antarctica.

Molly brought home a bad progress report. Should that ruin my day? No. What pissed me off was walking her into the school and being berated by her two bit old bitty teachers. It took me an hour to get back out to my car. Then when I pick up Molly I get the actual 9 week progress report. Hmm. Eth? Um. Ok. Out of the six subjects listed she has 4 A's, 1 B, 1 F. An F? What? I look at the breakdown of the 49%. It is in Math. What? Did I read that subject right, Molly fail math? The same child that did statistic's with me over the summer and broke down and explained certain rules? What? I read the grades. Ranging from 88 to a 13 to a 0 and it was the 13 that reached up and slapped me in the face.

I went over the 20 something grades in math and asked Molly specific questions. Her reply? "My brain just don't work that fast." Do what? Her highest grade was in basic division (which they just started last week) and her lowest was the math facts test on simple multiplication (she know's her times tables, I went over them tonight with her and timed her, she answered something like 112 in 5 minutes for me).

To make it worse, now because she "goes off into lala land" I have to take her to a psychologist and have her re-tested for Autism (and variations thereof), learning disorders, mental retardation, behavioral problems, and ADD. Fine. But you know what? I have already been there, done that, and there is nothing wrong with her. But I get to do it again. I admit, there is something wrong; but I think it goes hand and hand with daydreaming. I could be wrong. I mean after all, I have been wrong before. But I would like to know if that little black jack ass that spit in her face a few weeks ago had to go to a psychologist and get evaluated. I bet he didn't. After all he IS black and his people have been repressed for generations. Sorry if that sounds prejudice but it is meant to be. And that is not like me, but right now, that is how I feel. Sorry if I offend anyone, I am not referring to an entire culture, just one family in specific that used that phrase first. If anything my prejudice is against ignorant people and liars, just a clarification. (oh yea and bad drivers, I just flat hate road idiots.)

The first thing that everyone said to me was to spank her. Guess what. I didn't. I don't think that is the answer. Besides, as mad as I am and disappointed to boot, I don't think I am the person that should deal out a spanking. I really don't. I also don't think it is the answer because I don't think this is behavior. I think this is some boredom and testing the waters to see what she can get away with in this school and with this set of administrators. I lean more on the boredom part. Especially when the teachers themselves tell me she needs to be tested for the gifted program because she is smart as a whip as long as she don't have to write the answers down. She can verbally tell you the answer to anything and the geographic region it originated from or at least a history of the topic. But they can't test her for Galaxy or Gifted if her grades are not indicative of her ability.

There you go. That's all I got for today. Hope yawl's lives are going better.

What the heck, one more day in paradise

What the heck? I had just settled down to finish my Spanish translation and to finish my verb flash cards for Spanish verbs in different tenses. Yeah, I know, I should have done this long before today but things keep cropping up. So, one more doomed Spanish day. I get a phone call from the school (Molly's). This leads to me storming out of the house ready to beat someone's ass. That leads to me going to the police station. This leads to me getting the school social worker down. Then it leads to me pressing charges on the asshole black boy that spit in my daughters face. Leads to my feeling of guilt about this but also leads to satisfaction. The GOD B DAMNED School won't do a blessed thing about situations until the parents have to go to extremes.

The boy just got out of ISS for messing with my daughter last week. So, after calling her a bitch and a jackass (because she told on him and what he was doing to bully her) he goes to the water fountain and gets a mouthful of water and spits it in Molly's face. Molly does the right thing, she goes to the office and tells the vice principal.

Does the boy have AIDS? Don't know. I pressed 3rd degree assault charges on a nine year old. Why? Why can't the damn schools handle bullies? Don't make sense to me. This is the same boy that has been giving Molly a hard time from the first day of school. I really hope his parents warmed his ass up after today. Honest to God. If I see them out in public I promise you I will shame the FUCK out of his parents. I am so flipping mad right now. Here it is 9:22 p/m and I am just sitting down to finish this translation. Will I be able to focus on either of my mid-terms tomorrow? I doubt it!

My child (ren) comes first. Always. But why on Spanish days? This is something I want to learn, I need it for my major, and I want to do it right! I am sitting on a D right now, without this help! I mean, like, why the heck can't it be when I am in the middle of a different subject that I don't feel an underlying need to perfect?

OK Jenny, why are you blogging now instead of translating? Truth be known, I did the translation. I was so mad, I just sat down and hand wrote the majority of it in English. Ha. That pissed me off more. LOL. It was like thirty minutes and done. See, it is not hard if you just sit down and do the damn thing. I still have the flash cards to do, but I am suffering mommy anger! I needed to vent.

I requested from the police divine intervention. Why? Because I did not want this guilt, I just wanted to force the school to do the right thing. Do I wish the boy ill, no, but I will shame his parents (if I am given half a chance to). Why shame his parents? Because he is crying out for attention and the only attention he is getting is bad attention. I told the social worker that. She agreed with me. I also told her that I was not going to press charges if he has the type of parents that are going to beat him near death. She was familiar with the boy. She assured me that no harm would come to him because half of the problem is he is not disciplined at home; there is basically no parental care at all. Okay; If you say so. She said that he would not be in Molly's class tomorrow. I informed her that moving him tomorrow might not be the best idea because they have a science test. She looked kind of shocked. What? Is that to much to ask for the boy? He is not mine, but I am sure my child would do poor on an exam if uprooted the day of the exam. I elaborated that point.

I am madder then Hell that this happened to my child. I could eat bullets and flatus an atomic bomb over it. BUT, I don't think the boy is really doing anything more then crying out for attention; be that attention bad or good. Am I wrong to rationalize that way?

A million things to do and the ambition to do none

and thats my post for the day.

PSYCH

IT IS EUREKA TUESDAY. Chanel 122 on dish aka SCIFI... get off the internet and go watch it! This is great advise from someone who is mad at the writing staff and is shunning the show slightly. LAST WEEK sucked. Can't wait to see what is in store for tonight. You know, in this little speel they have going tonight, do you think that they'd have the courtisey to re-run last weeks show so that I could pretend not to watch what I was to tired to stay up for? GRRRR>

I am so tired! I forgot in three weeks how draining studies can be! I am running behind the 8th pulled pin on the 7th granade. Oh weeelllll. If G'ma takes the puppies to the vet tomorrow, I will spend the day catching up on the stuff I shouldn't really be behind on.

As for the puppies, I am really not ready for another dog. Honest. They are not mine. But I do understand that the rest of the family needs to heal and they are all taken in, smitten actually, by these furry little creatures. Me, I am neither here nor there about it. Kinda going through the rituals of house breaking. That means people too. No g'ma you cannot take the puppy to bed with you because you won't want him sleeping with you in a year and he won't understand. Lulu put her down. Molly, put THEM down. ANNIE NO, GENERAL T NONONONONONO BAD DOG... etc so on and so forth. Renie said I have 4 kids now and her math was off. She left out G'pa who is holding Annie all day on his lap and G'ma who is taking naps with General T. BOY does that sound perverted! But I got six kids now. And don't forget the three horses!

Freckles was standing at the fence snorting this afternoon and watching them. He hates dogs and spooks at little things. I bet he thought we had guina pigs or something running around and was waiting to get eaten up. General T noticed tho, and the little big shit barked at him and ran at him... well until Freckles lowered his head in courosity and made a horsey noise. It was hells for bells and rolly polly running free for all by the bad General. Uth huh, you and your bad self. Little rotten dog. Maybe it is 9 kids. I yelled at Freckles for antagonizing the puppy and then scaring him. Freck just begged for a pet, he really don't care if I yell at him. Then because he was getting pets the mares came over and vyed for attention.

And I wonder why I am tired and I have the nerve to blaime it on college? Some gal I are!

Phone is out again. 5th time in three weeks. AT*T and their lovely repair job to where the roads and grounds commision graded the road and tore up the line. I called them again today and they will be out Friday after 3 pm. What am I like neighbors with WOW in the middle of no where? ~~waves at WOW~~ (NOT SAID IN A MEAN WAY... UPS can't find you why should the phone company be able to find me)

Now when you call one of three things happens, it is busy, it rings (but not at the house), or it says, "The party you have reached has been disconceted"... Yea, we are disconnected all right. But ATand T has no problem cashing my checks that get there on time.... GRRRR.

Molly got a cellphone. Irony is the last four digits is Lulu's b-day! Like I can forget that one. But the phone is a purple scoop (I've got the slate scoop) and it is in G'pas hands until Molly brings home a stellar report card. Molly knows this. And she is working HARD... OOOOOh baby. The deal is that she brings home a great report card and she gets the phone. Her grades slip and she surrenders the phone to G'pa. The phoneis on my account and it is not that much more. SIGH... but... anyway.

Don't cha all hope the home phone gets fixed soon? LOL... I've like totally blogged here today!

Have a great night... EUREKA is on at 9 pm with a new episode.
