Mid April B*tch session Part 1

A few things to Complain about:
First: The Contest for the DC family radio show is rigged. I listed to past pod cast and came up with my answers based on the process of deduction. THE answer to the most beloved movie character, James Bond, came up several times and was correct but when given today it was wrong. I guess they should not record their radio show.
ALL or nothing answers so far:
1)Talk on the phone
2)possibilities - online bill paying, fast food
3)Salaries
4)Move back Home
5)James Bond is what it should be but now I guess I will say again Scarlet O'Hara or Hanna Montana, but Hanna would be most popular, eth?

Ok Done with my complaint.

Six more weeks

Quote of the day: "Nothing is impossible for the man who doesn't have to do it himself. " A.H. Weiler (1909-2002)

Song of the day: "You give love a bad name" Jon Bon Jovi (or do we take out the Bon now?)

You know it is really confusing when well known artist change their name or what they go by or even when they switch bands around. I have had that song stuck in my head all day and the worse part of it is that I liked the band as a teen but I hated that song. SO, why now do I like it? I know , I know, I liked it in secret... right?

Six more weeks. Any guesseers this week?

OK for the all or nothing over at DC and the family radio show.
2nd question - Movie tickets
5th question - Scarlet O'Hara

I was going to release this post tomorrow but I have a ten page paper to finish in the morning or before 1230pm, lol, so here it is.

Sploggin it

This is just a smorgours board of stuff.

Quote of the day: "A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon it adds up to real money." Senator Everett Dirksen, US politician (1896 - 1969)

Song of the day: "Whatever it is" Zac Brown Band

Check out the hecklers at the NYT auto show. I had to laugh. Like the auto industry expected to be anything less than jeered? I mean really, we allowed congress to GIVE them out tax money for the bailout and then they take and waste the money on bonuses. Yea, well, I know I won't be purchasing a new car anytime soon. I will drive the one I have no other choice. Why? Because I have no desire to give the auto giants any of my money after their irresponsible acts. That's why.

DC and Family radio show still has the all or nothing thing going, here are the questions and the potential answers so far and the right answers.

3)Almost 1/2 of all spouces say they don't know this about thier mate?
answer - Salary

I don't know what else to say, I have been busy with school and Doc has been bogged down with work and according to him, "Just don't feel like blogging". Sigh. I will work on getting him to blog something. I feel bad about it, honest I do!!!! I make him take a vacation and then he disappears from the blogasphere!!!! DOC... yooohoooo..... update sometime soon? Eth?

I am hungry. I am working on a paper and studying for an exam... fun... I do a little of one and then switch over to the other... SIGH... right this second is that second in time where I am taking a sanity break and thinking about my gut!

Did the word gut come from glutton?

in a squeeky voice - 6 days to go

Song of the day: "Sissy's Song" Alan Jackson - the link goes to the actual written lyrics.

Quote of the day: "Be a good listener. Your ears will never get you in trouble." Frank Tyger

I got a few things here.

One - I have been accused many times over of being heartless and distant and have the emotional tolerance of a stock broker. Whatever. At 7:14am, while driving into school with Molly, I was overcome by grief. Now, what I must step back and explain is that I was in a relatively good mood to the point that this song came on. I heard the first verse of the song and just felt that tickle. My back got tight, my shoulders tensed up. I drew my jaw in and furrowed my brows. A fight to stop tears that was useless. The somber mood has now passed and I got my kick ass - go getter - motivator attitude going on! I do have feeling that this song will haunt me for the rest of the day. However, it did make me think of our blogger TW and WOW and their recent losses. If I were to dedicate a song of the day, it would be this one to them.

Two - The infantile side of me ENJOYS the DC and the family radio show (used to be Steve and DC radio show). They have started up their "All or nothing" game. These go on FOREVER. You have to answer all questions correctly or you get nothing. THE prize for this is a 3 day and 2 night all expense paid trip to LA to the finale of American Idol. I don't care about the prize but the questions are fun. Please drop me the answers, lol, I might call it in!

Q1- What will the majority of the worlds population, nearly 80% never do or experience?
Wrong answers so far are flying, and ride in an airplane

Q2 - What is the most purchased item on a credit card?
wrong answers are gas and hotel rooms
my answer would be - buy groceries

Q3 - Almost 1/2 of all spouses say they don't know this about their mate?
Wrong answer is past relationships
my answer would be - middle name

Q4 - What do the majority of college students do immediately after graduation?
Wrong answers are go on vacation and go to work.
my answer would be either go to the beach or go to disney world

Q5 - According to the website box office mojo, who is the most beloved movie character?
Wrong answers are Mickey Mouse and Super Man.
my answer would be - Betty Boop

Mrs L's joke of the day:
Morris, an 82 year-old man, went to the doctor to get a physical. A few days later, the doctor saw Morris walking down the street with a gorgeous young woman on his arm. A couple of days later, the doctor spoke to Morris and said, 'You're really doing great, aren't you?' Morris replied, 'Just doing what you said, Doc: 'Get a hot momma and be cheerful.'' The doctor said, 'I didn't say that. I said, 'You've got a heart murmur; be careful.'

Offical Protest

Quote of the day: "Are you OK" DC to Kathleen. "I am choking on a chew runt" Kathleen to DC. "I'm glad you didn't mix your words up on that!" DC to Kathleen from the DC and the Family morning show.

Song of the day: "Cinnimon and Sugar" Butt Hole Surfers

My Body is in SHOCK. Two mornings in a row having to get up has taken it's toll on me. LOL. The break was just tooo looooong and getting back into the swing of things SUCKS donkey Dick. Yess indeedy.

This morning, made a lousy pot of coffee, drank it anyway.

While coffee was brewing went to go potty and brush teeth, ended up vomiting snot and stomach acid.

Sue cooked breakfast, I got the kids dressed and ready to go, let the dogs out, etc et al.

Realized I had to go to the bathroom and I will omit any further details on that. LOL.

Eyes were to dry to put contacts in. Shoes felt two sizes to small.

AND I HAD TO WEAR A JACKET. I had to let the Jeep run to defrost the windshield. I had to run back into the house and put on a sweater under my jacket and then re-check that the kids were warm enough.

Can anyone answer me why the world thinks that we are suppose to get up bright and early and attempt to function? Anyone?
