Not Giving up Yet

Song of the day "Keeper of the Stars" John Michael Montgomery

Quote of the day: "The best way to live is by not knowing what will happen at the end of the day..." Donald Barthelme - US author of sometimes surrealistic stories (1931-1989)

Metaphor of the day: "When it rains it POURS"

Hot damn what a last few weeks! I am not really sure if I am coming or going on most days. There has been a lot of issues with Lucy and that has caused me to slip painfully behind on my studies.

Then the laptop crashed. Doc bought me a new one today.

I got sick (FUGHADUCK... I vomited stomach acid and it shot out my nose and tore up my nasal passage, then I choked on the crap as I was sitting there crying at the pain from the bile shooting out my nose.) and I still have no voice. I wonder if I didn't get some of the stuff in my vocal cords. I sound like I am trying to recover from laryngitis! Oh and cry... yes indeedy! And I kept thinking over and over (as I lay my head upon the potty) "Thank You GOD that I scrubbed to toilet today!"

Lucy had a full blown violet attack yesterday. She bent my glasses all up (I was able to get them to the point I can wear them), pulled out chunks of my hair, beat up Doc's NEW car inside and outside, and the list goes on. It lasted about 2 hours.

Amanda LIED to Gram and POP while they were down here visiting. So, they naturally took the stance they didn't like DOC and left. Fine, really, bad week to come visit... hope we don't have the swine flu and we didn't pass it to them! So, Gram told me yesterday all these awful things that Doc and I are doing (like we won't let them come out of their room, make them eat things they don't like [life is tough, eat real food because your not getting hot dogs here], they are forced to talk to themselves because we don't let them out of their room, they do nothing [I'll have to remember that the next visit to the park or shopping], Doc sleeps on the couch [hmmmm... I could get vulgar there but I won't]) oh I don't know there was a laundry list of stuff Sue told me. So, I questioned Mandy on this. She admitted to making stuff up. I asked her why... SHE WANTED GRAM AND POP TO PAY HER ATTENTION AND NOT LUCY. So, it is OK to make MOM and DOC look like they are in first place for the lousiest parents in Tennessee Award. Thanks. Thanks A LOT.

I am sure there are a half a dozen things I missed that went wrong (THIS WEEK ALONE). I decided to spend two days in bed on top of all this. SIGH. Life sucks sometimes.

I sent the kids to bed with hugs and kisses at nine PM and told them to watch TV and I would shut if off later. I am sure this will translate as I whipped them and beat them and sent them to bed without blankets (when they talk to Gram again!) LOL.

You got to laugh!

OH OK, here is another one... we have had what 10 days of (torrential downpours) rain? The area we park (so the cars don't get gunked up from the tree) is tore up. I am parking by the house so we don't have anymore rutts over there. The creek this afternoon was running about half way up the banks and we are now under a flash flood warning. SIGH.

I have to get back to writing papers. Yea! I just wanted to let everyone know we are not dead... just being challenged! You most likely will not hear from me until next weekend. By then I will most likely have ANOTHER laundry list of BS rather then insightful and whitty blogging.

It is going to be a Good Year

**Edit** I just killed a mouse with the fly swatter. I din't know it was possible to do that, but I went into the bathroom to GO and the little F**ker ran over my left foot. The fly swatter was in there for what ever reason (I am not sure i want to know who brought it in there for what reason) LOL, and I snatched it and popped the little critter! I hate living in the country sometimes. And we have no barn cats (something I plan to rememdy soon).

Quote of the day: "Oh, while your doing that, how about a foot massage?" Molly to the orthepedic surgeon

Song of the day: "Love Story" Taylor Swift (Molly made me listen to it like a zillion times today, why not?)

It just is. I know it. I can feel it.

Molly had her doctor's appointment today with the orthopedic surgeon. They took more x-ray and decided that it is healing better then great. Like the split is healed up to the chip. Fantastic. Two weeks of crutches and working on walking and two weeks out of PE and maybe two extra weeks, we are not sure yet.

Went to Dillards to spend my gift certificates before the store closes and asked about that. They said their store is not one of the 250 to close. Yea! While there I found something. OK. Now, people that know me in person, please don't faint. I am switching from Eestee Lauders' Beautiful to her Beyond Paradise. Yea, Yea, I know, I have only used the other one for what … two decades? LOL. Beyond Paradise came out like five years ago but I could never bring myself to make the switch. I tried it today and … LOVED IT.

Lulu was a good girl for Sue and Harry while I was out with Molly.

And My Spanish Teacher E-mailed me … Check this out… I still owe her 3 assignments and the final exam… but my grade (without them) is an 81… but if you average in the 0's it is like a 65 I think she said. So… I have a fighting chance in HELL in that class. I might just get that A. LOL. Wow. Cool. But you know what… even if I bomb the exam and get a C… I will survive!

So, that is that. Molly goes to school tomorrow so I will be out in town all day running errands.

Hope everyone has a great night (whats left of it)

**Edit** I will get around to reading everyones blogs and catching up tomorrow sometime. I am BEYOND ready to turn it, it is going for midnight and I have to get up (BOOOHOOOHIOOOHOOOO) tomorrow at SIX am (damnit) (REALLY) Man.... this sucks.... LOLOLOLOL

Hi, Hello, 'sup

Hee Hee Hee.

Well the water is getting clearer with Lulu. She was feeling much better this morning so I sent her to daycare so that i could study for this Spanish Exam I am tentativly going to take tomorrow.

Final Grades
Bio - C
Psych Adjustment - A

My spirits are higher then they were last week. LOL. I am pulling thru the murk and mud of Everything Caving IN LOL and the spring is back in my heart. I left a message on NYPINTA's voice mail seeking if she made it through the ice storm OK. I did break down and call Butthead (aka Molly's daddy) and he called into work because of the ice storm. Really he don't deserve to be called butthead today. He was rather pleasant on the telephone. I then bit the bullet and called my mom. My step fater answered and he said that in their area the telephone poles were snapping like twigs and so were large tree's. He said that they had downed poles as well as wires. WOW. But they have a wood burning stove so all should be well.

Other then that nothing to really report. I wrapped a few gifts yesterday while lulu was taking a nap. I had to laugh at the poor thing. Here is what happened...

We had to run to the store. She fell asleep about 2 miles from the house comming home and she was OUT. So, I carried her in the house and laid her on G'ma's bed. Harry laid down with her (he was tired and that way she wouldn't be scared when she woke up). ASo, when the rascal wakes up, she springs from the bed (scaring the living daylights out of Harry) and goes running... NEVER SEEING HARRY. LOL. So, she gets to the door and turns and says, "Oh!" and gets back in bed. Silly turd.

Molly's B-day is on Wed and I am bringing ice cream cake, her holiday party at school is thrus, early realease is fri, b-day party at home is Sat, Sun we are suppose to go to Augusta, I don't think we have anything planned on the 22, YEET, and the 23rd is MY B-DAY.. MARK IT ON THE CALANDARS!!!!.... IF YOU DON'T hear from me... Check with the Insane assylum.

Hope everyone is doing well, I will check your all's blogs as soon as possible.
HUGS
Jenny
