Confessions of a blogger who don’t know how to add BLOGCANDY
I will be the FIRST to admit that I am not blog savvy and that I often look at other peep's blogs in envy. Take for example Renie, she has a widget. I don't know how to do that! I am not really sure if that is what I thought a widget was, but… well now I'm educated. Please leave advice on how to add that in the comments! Then you have Fermicat And SHE had this really super cool book on her nightstand link/picture…? I'd love to have one on my blog (HINT FERMICAT) directions on HOW to can also be left on my comments. Then you have some Chic looking for her Penguins and she has this feed that tells her the locations she is getting hits from. NEATO. And then you have WOW and her double sidebar. How fun is that? How about Grace and her blog that has all the cool icon's and moon phases on it? Then for honorable mention (mostly because HIS posts are so dang funny, when he ummm UPDATES)
Anyway, if ANYONE, has any feedback on how to make my blog more Blogcandy, please feel free to add a comment. THANKS.

Some blog widgets have code that you just cut and paste into your template or layout. My book thingy is handmade. Go to your Layout setup screen and choose "Add a gadget". An edit window pops up and you can add whatever you want. My book covers are just images that are linked to an information page about the book. Just like making text a link, except you have an image be the link instead. I had to read up on basic html. This is a good place to start. Blogger also has a list of very simple html stuff.
Blogger added stuff to the template page that makes it easier to add stuff but you have to upgrade. On my TTTM blog, I haven't upgraded. I've previewed what it would look like and all my buttons disappear and I'm too lazy to put them all back in. But the upgraded version does make it so much easier to add things like widgets and link lists. Check that out first. And when you see something on someone else's site, like my moon phases thing, you can usually click on it and it brings you to the page that has the code so you can add it to you own site.

I think your blog looks really good! Mine is very plain, and I don't have the time to fool with it. On your Dashboard you will see Followers. I am your follower! Click on that and it should explain how to add Follow this Blog to your page. I am pretty blogger challened but blogger explains it pretty well, and you can add it. Give it a try!

Took me awhile and after gallons of coffee and cleaning of the glasses umpteentimes...it happened. Actually it was the FIRST thing I attempted when I made this! so things come easier afterwards...
OMG they have a blogger for dummies? I love the for dummies books! Thanks WOW. Now lets see, catch up on Spanish tomorrow, Write a paper for a friend, Write a paper or two for myself, outline chapter six for Bio, do chapter five and six post for Psych Adjustment, ... pick up kids, feed and bathe them, play with them and demon puppies,call amazon.com and bytch them out for using my checking account at one bank istead of the debit card for another account I put in and consequently overdrawing my checking account by 90 something bucks, Um... oh.. bathe myself, worry about Kelly, complain about Eureka, trim the horses feet (they will hear the blunt of my complaints) try to catch a sunset, and oh... look up all these goodies you all have given me to ponder.
And now I take a second to breathe. Was that a complete sentence or a runonwannabeblogpostthatIcantblogbecauseIhaveanEurekaRANTineditmode?
